Damash canyon

Damash canyon (Siahu) in Bandar Abbbas is one of the most pristine and picturesque canyons of Iran. Jamash river flows within this canyon and it originates from Hamag Mountains. Spring, autumn, and winter are appropriate seasons to visit this canyon. Darvishan canyon

There is a scenic canyon in three kilometers distance of Darvishan village in Mazandaran where a river flows through it. This canyon is one of Iran canyons which is more known for its waterfall. Darvishan Waterfall is one of the region canyons where has plenty of water with a deep pond in the bottom. While travelling to Mazandran province, you can enjoy the beautiful nature of this pristine valley.

 Kool Khuzestan canyon

This attractive canyon is situated in Khuzestan. If you are exhausted of the summer heat and tend to enjoy the temperature below 20 centigrade, you just need to travel within this canyon. Kool means canyon in the local language and Kool Khersan Canyon is considered as the combination of the nature's beauty and grandeur because walking through the canyon route, you reach a place where the height of walls impresses you and the distance between walls declined to the level that only one person can pass through it. The canyon route is picturesque and full of waterfall with the leaves of Adiantum capillus-veneris.   

Lili canyon

Lili canyon is located in Dorud, Loresatan and a region where you can enjoy a variety of activities. In addition to the pleasure of watching the beautiful nature, boating and water play are the others recreational activities. Moreover, surrounding lush trees, the stream flowing within the canyon, small and large ponds locating in the corners, they all improves the pleasure of exploring the canyon vivid nature. Lili canyon of Dorud is such a pleasant and unique region where has a plenty of water. Plentiful water volume of the canyon creates a suitable place for bathe and diverse water play activities and even diving in water. The nature and smooth cliffs of the canyon form dreamy sceneries and excite tourists.

Vashi canyon

Tangeh Vashi or Tangeh Savashi is one of the most beautiful attractions surrounding Tehran in summers. Vashi canyon is located 17 kilometers west of Firouzkouh city. In summers, Vashi canyon annually hosts many tourists who can walk 3 kilometers to reach a wonderful waterfall heights 15 meters. There is a cozy restaurant and small recreational place in the immediate proximity of the waterfall.

Kafari canyon

Tang-e Kafari is a part of Ilam's spectacular nature and it is considered as one of the most important touristy and recreational areas in Badreh City. This canyon has a picturesque view to Seimare Dam and river which is one of the most visited touristy regions in Ilam Province. Mountains called Kabir Kuh, Dinar Kuh and Manesht are considered as the main factors in creation of the canyon. Apart from the natural beauties, some architectural remnants can be find on the canyon that fascinate many tourists.

Fanuj canyon

Fanuj Canyon is located in Fanuj District, 3 kilometers away from the city center with 16 kilometers length. Because of its rare plant species, 900 hectares of its area is protected by Department of Natural Resources. Clear water flowing within the canyon during the whole year, moderate climate, diverse and rare plant species, and beautiful nature are the natural attractions of the region. Fanuj is one of the ancient cities in Sistan and Baluchestan Province. Fanuj city is situated on the commercial caravans road from Oman sea shores; particularly, Jask Commercial Port and Beshagard port, towards the north. South west part of the province was a place of deployment of military forces.

Boraq canyon

Tang-e Boraq is a spectacular valley in the north of Tang Boraq village. Due to the placement of the village in south half of the country and its mountainous area, this village has moderate climate in springs and summers and cold weather in autumns and winters.

Ponds existing within the river route and also Boraq canyon has a depth of 10 meters in some parts. Due to the giant cliffs which exist under the water, it is highly dangerous to dive from heights of the canyon into the ponds and several people have been killed, so far.
