Dizin Ski Tour

Dizin Ski Resort is not only the most important domestic piste, but it is considered as the most reputable piste throughout the Middle East that is located in the north of Tehran. Dizin Ski Resort is the first Iran's ski piste which is officially recognized and granted the title by the International Ski Federation to hold official and international competitions. The piste possesses 4 gondola lift lines to destinations named Shaleh Kuh, Qoleh Kuh (mountain peak in Persian), Dareh (Valley in Persian), and Chaman (Grass in Persian); in addition, there are also 2 chairlift lines to Qoleh and Chaman and seven surface lift lines and a platter button T-bar lift. The highest altitude of the piste is 3600 meters with the ski run which is 5.7 kilometers in length. The skiing season at Dizin Ski Resort starts from around December 15 and lasts until around April 15. There are two hotels and 19 separate cottages; moreover, five restaurants and other welfare facilities are presented that travelers and athletes can settle in these accommodations. The mild winter weather (-20 degrees centigrade) with many sunny days and the pleasant summer weather (Max 20 degrees centigrade) and plenty of facilities and proper access, they all make Dizin to a unique touristy village in the Middle East which can service in both winter and summer.

Grass skiing is another opportunity you can take in summer time at Dizin Ski Resort. The grass skiing piste is 650 meters in length and international grass skiing competitions are held in this region every year. Simultaneously, other sport activities are offered at the resort such as mountain biking, archery, kite landboarding, etc. In addition, tourists can visit the flower garden and rare mountainous species of plants. 

Tochal Ski Tour

Tochal is the nearest and most crowded ski piste in Tehran which is located in a three kilometers distance to Tajrish square in Shemiranat region. Moreover, the piste is considered as the highest piste of the country that is facilitated with 3 Gondola lift lines, 3 chairlift lines, and 1 ski lift which is totally 7500 meters in length and competes to the longest Gondola lifts throughout the world.  This complex has three separate pistes that the first one is situated on the mountain peak, the second one is in the western hillside and the third one is located at the 5th to the 7th stations. Tochal resort is equipped with different clubs like Tennis, archery, bungee jumping, skate, paint ball. On the other hand, activities such as mountain climbing and trekking can also be done at the resort.

Khoshaku Ski Tour

Khoshaku is located in Razan region, and in a 30 kilometers distance to west of Urmia. The complex possesses mountains with suitable slopes for skiing and a beautiful natural view.  Khoshaku ski resort which covers 50,000 square kilometers, offers the possibility of grass skiing in summers.

Nesar Ski Tour

Nesar Ski Piste is situated in Nesar mountain hillside, in Bijar city, Kordestan province. This is one of the five main resorts for those who travel to the province. Gondola lift, chairlift, public parking lot, hotel and restaurant are among the facilities of this spectacular complex. The piste overlooks Bijar city and it also has an easy access to the city which are the main reasons for its importance. The appropriate length and slope of the piste can easily provide the facilities for holding domestic and international competitions.

Chelgard Ski Tour

Chelgard piste is located in an 85 kilometers distance to Shahrekord County and you can access to the region via Zagros region.  Chelgard piste can be used until the middle of March. It is interesting to know that most of winter days are sunny in this region; additionally, an approximate population of 20,000 to 30,000 people travels to the region every year. It is highly recommended to visit Kuhrang waterfall that is in close proximity to the piste.

Shemshak Ski Tour

Shemshak Ski Resort, after Dizin piste, is considered as the second largest ski piste in Iran. The resort is located in a 57 kilometers distance to the north-east of Tehran and it is near Shemshak village, in Roudbar-e Qasran rural district, Shemiranat County. There are different access roads to the resort named Lashgarak, Zardband, Karaj, Gachsar (only in summer). Many sport facilities are offered in the complex including 2 chairlift lines, 2 surface lift lines, 2 platter T-bar lift lines, 2 hotels and 4 restaurants that one of the restaurants is situated on the mountain peak. The best time for skiing at Shemshak piste starts from the middle of November to the beginning of April. However, observing the beautiful nature of the region is pleasurable throughout the year.

Sahand Ski Tour

Sahand Ski Resort is located in a 39 kilometers distance to south east of Tabriz city. The complex is under repair recently but many facilities will be offered to tourists such as 12 lifts, 3 and 5 star hotels, apartment complexes, villas, and sport clubs. The current facilities are 2 ski lifts which are 1200 meters in length, and 2 amateur lifts with 100 meters length provide the opportunity for six months skiing for both tourists and residents of the region. Moreover, since the region never experience avalanche, you can enjoy a wide range of winter sport games.  

Kakan Ski Tour

Dena (Kakan) Ski Resort is located in Kohgiluyeh and Boyer- Ahmad Province in the proximity of Kakan rural district. The piste is accessible via Zagros hillsides and Dena summit, in an 18 kilometers distance to Yasuj city. The platter lift of the piste is the main lift. In addition, dormitory and restaurant are the available facilities during the late December to the middle of March. Snowman festival is another attraction of the resort which is held every year.
