Dasht-e Lar (Lar Plain) with its unique beauties is located in foothills of Damavand summit, in Larijan district, Amol County, Mazandaran province. From north, Dasht-e Lar reaches to mountains of Nur County in Mazandaran, from east and north east it links to Mount Damavand. From south east the plain reaches to Ira, Damavand County, and Polour in Amol. Afjeh, Ammameh and Lavasan-e Bozorg are situated at the south of Dasht-e Lar; moreover, Khatun Bargah and Garmabdar are at the west of the plain. Dasht-e Lar has been known as Lar National Park since 1975. In historical eras, Lar was considered as a part of Qasran historical district in Ray County which was repeatedly mentioned as "Lar Qasran" in many historical documents.

Neor Lake is located between Ardebil and Khalkhal cities, between Gilan and Ardebil provinces. After travelling 35 kilometers from Ardebil towards Khalkhal city, you will reach Budalalu village where you have to go 13 kilometers up the mountain. After passing Abbas Abad village, you will arrive at this beautiful lake which is 210 hectares in area and 5 meters in depth. The path to the lake is fully covered by asphalt, while the route around the lake is a dirt road. Rainbow trout exists in the lake which is annually brought out of the lake before winter, since froze water of the lake causes the fish to die. After winter ends, these little farmed fish are released again in the lake.

Aali Kia Cycling Tour
