Gheshlagh Bridge

Gheshlagh Bridge is located in a 3 kilometers distance to east Sanandaj city, on Gheshlagh River. The bridge was built of brick and dates back to Safavid dynasty.  The bridge has two giant openings and four small springs; additionally, it is about 5.8 meters in width and 90 meters in length. There are groynes on the two sides of the main columns in both round and triangular shapes. Furthermore, there are two manuscripts written on the main structure of the bridge which dates back to Qajar dynasty that one of them mentions 1736 AD as the construction date, and the other illustrates 1916 AD as the repair date.

Qarah Qeshlaq

Qarah Qeshlaq Bonab lagoon has become famous as the bride of lagoons in Iran's North West part because of its beauty and the variety of flora and fauna species. Pristine natural attractions and the variety of flora and fauna species including aquatic animals, migratory birds, and wild boars are the characteristics of Qarah Qeshlaq Lagoon identity. These characteristics demonstrate the high position of this ecosystem in the country's biological heritage. Qarah Qeshlaq Lagoon and its protected area are 48000 hectares in area which are located between the permanent rivers of Sufi Chay and Zarrineh on the southern outskirts of Lake Urmia National Park in the southern part of East Azerbaijan, between Bonab, Miandoab, and Mianeh counties. Qarah Qeshlaq Lagoon annually hosts thousands of migratory birds in cold seasons which migrate from remote areas; particularly the deadly cold Siberia. Therefore, in the beginning of the tropical year, dance of flamingos and cranes gifts the hope of life and spring to indigenous people and Iranian or foreigner tourists who visit the lagoon.      

Qeshlaq-e Abbasabad

Qeshlaq-e Abbasabad is a village in Khondab rural district in Arak County, Markazi province.    According to Iran national census at 2006, the village population is 86 people (22 households).
