Kashan is one of the oldest and beautiful cities of Iran where is located in a 220 kilometers distance to the south of Iran's capital (Tehran) , 90 kilometers to Qom, and 200 kilometers to the capital of the province (Isfahan city). The city is situated between Karkas Mountains, Natanz city and the Great Salt Desert of Iran. Despite the hot and desert climate of Kashan, colorful flowers grow in the region which proves the city's infinite beauties. The attractions of the city is not only limited to its flora species, but the city encompasses many historical valuable remnants including Tepe Sialk (a large ancient archeological site) which dates back to 7000 years ago. Fin Garden and Bath

Fin Garden: There is no doubt that Fin Garden is one of the tourist attractions not to be missed in your travel to Kashan. It is a lush landscape that most of its trees are 100 to 470 years old. The Garden is 23000 square meters in area which was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Fin Bathroom: It is a bath museum in Fin Garden where Amir Kabir was assassinated. There are two small and large baths in the south part of Fin Garden. The small bath was built on Safavid dynasty and the large one was constructed during Fath-Ali Shah Qajar Reign.    

Jameh Mosque of Kashan

Jameh Mosque of Kashan is a historical building in Kashan city which is highly recommended to visit. In the distant past, the mosque was a fire temple but after Islam's conquest in Iran, it was converted to a mosque. Moreover, it has been cited as a mosque in many historical documents, currently.

Tepe Sialk

Tepe Sialk is considered as one of the historical attractions of Kashan. The site was recognized after the flood occurred 80 years ago and many Iranian and foreigner archeologists have examined the age of Tepe Siak so far.

Agha Bozorg Kashan Mosque and School

There are numerous historical houses in Kashan as you can visit five historical famous houses in the same street. Agha Bozorg Mosque and School can be named as one of these houses. The mosque was one of the best buildings in its era and the architecture style of its dome is stunning and elegant.

Borujerdi House

Borujerdi House is a 130 years old building which is considered as one of the most visited historical houses in the city. The house was built by a renowned businessman named Haj Seyed Hosein Natanzi, in Qajar dynasty, in 1863 that was a perfect example of a luxurious house in its era.   

Niyasar Fire Temple

Niyasar Fire Temple is a must- see attraction of Kashan. It is a Chahartaqi (literally meaning "having four arches" in Persian language, is an architecture unit consists of four barrel vaults and a dome) situated on hights of Niyasar which dates back to Sasanian dynasty. Structure of the Chahartaqi is considered as one of the oldest and largest samples of Iran's Chahartaqi which remained more intact than the others.

Tabatabai House

Sultan Amir Ahmad Bathhouse is located in one the historical neighborhoods of Kashan with the same name. After passing some historical buildings, you will reach a house which is situated beside the holy tomb of Sultan Amir Ahmad who was one of Imam Musa ibn Jafar al-Kazim's descendants. The building has been known as the bride of Iran's houses because of its unique beauties which is a masterpiece of ancient architecture.     

According to specific principles, every corner of the house was designed smartly where simultaneous with its beauties; all the needs of its inhabitants were forecasted. These large houses gave an opportunity to both their affluent owners and their married descendants to reside in them. In addition, these houses were a proper place for business and holding ceremonies.

 Nushabad

There are numerous tourist destinations in Kashan as you can spend 2 to 3 days visiting the whole city. There is an underground city named Nushabad where dates back to 1500 years ago, in Sasanian dynasty.

Kashan Qamsar

According to the historical documents about extraction of essential oils from damask rose, Iranian people were the first who invented a machine for liquids' distillation. It is suggested to visit the interesting ceremony of extraction oils from damask rose in spring, especially in May.
